80 miles of fun @ Lanark

Post by Reel Slow »

Left ramp in Nole's rig and as we idled out we both complimented a fine looking shallow water boat...later found out it was Click and Clack

We went off the beaches looking for some schools crashing bait. We landed several Spaniards but not much else was found....Enough of the experiment and on to serious fishing.

Caught 16 or so reds, 3 trout and other shark. Almost all were landed on brown and olive clouser from the Maestro's vice, reds were deeper early 2-3' and very skinny over sand late. Played around with other patterns but these were mostly rejected..Nole may have a sale on foam crab flies right now :-D

A few for JT (I expertly placed the boat and Nole did the easy part ;-) ):

A few tails were up...negative tides coming soon!

Nothing like fishing hard all day and catching from dawn to dusk! Thanks Nole it was awesome fun.

Flint River Pirate writes, "Great pictures!!"

I'll second that! Good enough to be featured in any of the saltwater mags... truly professional results -- I'm jealous :smt012 ;-)

Any camera that takes a lens should be able to get a polarizing filter to spin on it.
