Reds, trout, etc., @ NFGFC tourney

Post by Talltails »

"Just go fishin'" That's been our motto the last couple club tourneys, and it's been as simple as that. FP, Suber, and I headed out Saturday morning with that in mind, and we had a pretty dang good day of fishing. We hit some spots where we have been hammering them lately, and it was no different yesterday. We caught five decent keepers in the first 10 minutes and the rest of the day followed suit. The redfish bit was on fire as well. Actually, we had to leave a couple areas to get away from the reds. We limited out on trout and reds, and caught several flounder, sheepshead and black drum as well. Never could find that kicker trout, but still ended up with a decent stringer. I love this time of year!

Pretty Much. But it was a good day of fishing. We had our five as the sun came up. I mean we had them in like 7 minutes.
