Launched at 7 a.m. and hit up several different offshore spots with the tide being low (1.18) at 6:30 a.m. Spooks were the lures-du-jour and we had a solid limit of trout by 10 a.m. with 5 fish at 22", 19.5", 19.25", 19" and 18.5". We continued fishing bars, but it was tough as the wind was brutal so we were forced to make quick drifts by them. At 11 a.m. Snatch and I hit up one of my favorite redfish spots, but didn't find any redfish. The only thing we (by we I mean Pat) found was a dinky 26" trout that won us some dinero.
We continued searching all over the place for reds, but they weren't in the creeks, creek mouths, on the flats, etc . Most of our trout were caught in 2-4' of water around structure on topwater. The floating grass was especially bad once the tide came in. Water temp was 71 when we started and 75 when we headed in.
Snatch has been the big fish man the last two weeks and once again helped the Hog cut a check.
The coolest part of the tournament was that we got big checks...

Boom goes the dynamite.
