Oyster Bay 10/12

Post by flounderpounder »

Tough weekend to fish with a nice 15-20 Northeast winds but TallTails and I went out anyways this morning. We set up in spot 1 and started catching real good trout and reds one after the next. The trout and reds were all caught on live finger mullet. Moved to spot #2 and caught a couple sheepies and a few real nice drum. Got off the water around 12:30 with a mess of fish and just got back from the store with some fish taco fixins and cold beer. :lick:

People in lots of places save up all year for one chance on vacation
to do what FP does most every week. I reckon they can have fun at
stuff where ever they are but I'll take what we got. Nice job.
All I got this weekend was a couple hours for some sorely needed yak rigging.

Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

Nicely done FP. Did you cast net the finger mullet or pickem up somewhere?
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
