Anyone fishing Turkey Point?

Post by Parrothead »

I'm going to Turkey Point Sat. and want info from anyone who has been fishing that area. I'm fishing for Tarpon and would like to know about water color and if anyone has seen or caught tarpon in this area.

The reports I have heard, the water was clearing but only a few Tarpon had showed so far. I really think that they will be there by the weekend though

I don't know what kind of Tarpon fishing you want to do but if you want to sightcast, go to Lanark, theres more fish there right now and the water is a little bit clearer. If you want to bait fish, go to the mouth of the Ochlocknee and down towards Mud Cove. Lots of hungry fish in that area.
