When I woke up this morning and saw the temperature outside was in the mid twenties, I thought only a fishing fool would go out in this weather. So it was no surprise that while I was launching my kayak that Talltails would be showing up. The sun was jus starting to come up as we made our way out o the water. We tossed a gulp shrimp, molten, 3 inch on a 1/8 oz jig head into some deeper mudholes and started picking up Redfish. Talltails got the first one, and I was right behind him. We started with the double hook ups then moved up closer to catch the feeding reds as they worked the mud flats foraging for small shrimp and mud minnows. I manage 8 Reds up to 22" and TT had more and one over 25". As we were leaving we ran into yet another fool. This one was "Mr Don't" wearing a Capt Crunch mask. Crunch was wearing a leather jacket, reeboks, and a pair of jeans. He rally wanted to fish bad in a stadard ssue barfly uniform from Queens, NY
