Hickry Mounds 11-23-2008
Started out the day at 30 deg F and went up hill from there. First fish of the day was caught on a 4" Glow Gulp Shrimp and a Fish N Mission 1/16 oz jighead. Low and behold a 25" trout on the flat. Picked up 3 more a little over 19" throughout the day and 7 reds up to 22". Lost a few nice ones that still have a spoon in their mouth. Most fish were caught on the old Capt Mike spoon in 1/4 and 3/8 weedless. Not a bad way to spend a morning. Aubill showed up around nine and caught some bigger reds on jerk baits.
