12-12, After Work

Met a buddy after work, in spite of the forecast winds, post front, and big moon.
Kayaks aren’t too bad with winds if they’re set up right.
You can certainly fish bad weather in a kayak that you wouldn’t in a boat.
The trout were finicky but we managed 10-12, with about half of those over 20 inches.
He wanted a redfish to blacken and we found some that just made the slot.





We stayed out long enough for a great moonrise.

got out today also. reds were around but trout were nowhere to be found. always a good day when your catching fish.

Looks like I need a kayak you guys have all the fun. Im a wuss I keep planning and canceling trips based on the temp/weather. Hopefully I can get out next tuesday.
