Spring Warrior 1/3/9

Post by beer thirty »

Decided it was high time to put bt junior on his first solo trout or red. We put in after the haze broke up and caught a few nice trout. No reds were found. Tackle for the day was zebco 33 and day glow jig. Mack with his first trout.

Like the fish. Always good to take family on the water. I am a novice at this stuff both the forum and fishing. I took my wife Sat. am and we did not get the first bite. Any suggestions? Launched at the Fort around 7:30 Am fished a few random spots on the St. Marks, West and East flats mouth of Big Pass, Aucilla river and not the first bit.

Nothing wrong with that first trout.
He'll always remember it.
