St. Marks Fort 1-8-09
I went out by myself for a few hours today. It was way too windy for my small boat so I fished the St. Marks/Wakulla between Shell Point Marina, in front of the fort, and down river. I didn't get anything up the St. Marks past the power plant. Fished really hard! Had two otters and an eagle for competition. I don't think they were catching much either. No hits until sunset (at low tide) then caught two reds. One was only 15", the other 23". Heard from another guy that they were catching reds further up the Wakulla river from docks.

Well it was better that being at work. At least you didn't have to play "Sea-Tow" today!

I was working and you were fishing.

That's the advantage of being a business owner. I get to work half-days and pick the hours I want.Reel Cowboy wrote:I was working and you were fishing.
In other words, I can pick which 12 hour shift I want each day.
