Saturday Whooping Cranes
Sunrise this morning I was amazed to see thosands of people at the Fort for the first arrival of the cranes.
I'd guess 3000 people.

Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.

Awesome. i can't believe they those folks flew in ultralights in this weather. I can't imagine how cold that was. I guess that means the birds made it here.

Nice. Actually better than what I expected, I figured something about what they taste like.jsuber wrote:Hey lit, I got seven cameras and you can use one next time to take some pictures.
I did have my camera but sometimes picture taking gets in the way of really being there.
I'm guessing that'll sound a little complicated so don't think about it too much.
Appreciate the camera offer though.

I just figured since you were expounding on it so much (HAHA) a picture might be worth a thousand words.Littoral wrote:Sunrise this morning I was amazed to see thosands of people at the Fort for the first arrival of the cranes.

Very interesting video.
I guess we need to keep our fingers crossed as to whether this flock will survive and reproduce.

Great video - thanks. Sad about the birds that died in the storms in Florida. I hope this group survives to make several trips.lordsfisher wrote:Here's something that was educational about whooping crane migration to me (4 min video)
