Saturday Whooping Cranes

Sunrise this morning I was amazed to see thosands of people at the Fort for the first arrival of the cranes.
I'd guess 3000 people. :smt041

Awesome. i can't believe they those folks flew in ultralights in this weather. I can't imagine how cold that was. I guess that means the birds made it here.

Nice. Actually better than what I expected, I figured something about what they taste like.
I did have my camera but sometimes picture taking gets in the way of really being there.
I'm guessing that'll sound a little complicated so don't think about it too much.
Appreciate the camera offer though. :thumbup:

I just figured since you were expounding on it so much (HAHA) a picture might be worth a thousand words.

Very interesting video.

I guess we need to keep our fingers crossed as to whether this flock will survive and reproduce.

Great video - thanks. Sad about the birds that died in the storms in Florida. I hope this group survives to make several trips. :jester_1
