Tried trolling and got no bites all day. Several places produced zero to small bites. I was the only person on board able to dive (another story) so I hit the first spot and brought back 3 nice gags. 2 of the gags I "noodled" out from under the ledge so they had zero holes in them. Fish were stacked and pretty active for the 56° water temp.
Next spot Frank put a couple of keepers in the boat on dead bait. I went dove the "jackpot" and loaded up again. The vis was a great 35-40' and I could see fish from the surface.
Back on the boat. 35 lbs of stringer with 3 fish. Big one was 32" and 16 pounds.
Finished out the limit (ugh, that hurts) with a couple more hook and line keepers. Had to wait until nearly high tide to get back in.
Nice day on the water, if not a little cold. All fish were caught from 25-35 feet. Water temps were 56° - 59°. Vis was awesome. Last hurrah until April.

Thanks to Frank and Greg for a great grouper season. And for those coming to social, Frank ang Greg donated their fish to me so we will have at least 25 pounds of grouper filets, backbones and throats.
