minn kota
I am replacing my minn kota riptide due to an accidental collision w/ a rock. I looked on the minn kota site to see who could install a new one, have any of you had anyone work on one? The only authorized dealer withen 50 miles were Tm Service Center in Tallahassee or Marine Carpeting in Attipulgus. Any advice is appreciated.

Hit a rock, pin didn't break just bent, bent shaft water got in and fried the motor. I've been told it was unfixable. If you think otherwise please clue me in. I like money and fishing!

The arbor which is the prop shaft, seals and brushes can be changed. Maybe $100 to $125. A new wireing harness and nose cone with speed senser a $100 more.
