NFGFC Keaton Beach Tournament Results
27 boats showed up this morning to fish the NFGFC tournament in Keaton Beach. It was a beautiful day with some absolute PIGS weighed.
Congratulations to Tom Keels, Jackson Keels and Sonny Blanton. They had a five fish limit that weighed 13.7 lbs with their big trout tipping the scales to 4.98 lbs. They took home $300 for their win. They also were SeaTow members and won an additional $100 courtesy of Captain Joel Singletary. They also won an additional $25 from Custom Detailing for weighing the second largest trout of the tournament. Special thanks to both of those sponsors and congrats again TK and team on a great stringer.
Second place went to the team of Junior Dice, Ashley Mock and Nicole Christmas. They weighed in 13.65 lbs with their TOAD of a big trout at 5.25 lbs. They won $180 for their second place victory. They also won the big trout pot of $205 and won the $280 redfish pot as well. Chang Chang Chang to the tune of $665.
Third place went to Robbie Green, Hunter Green and the young gun, Warren Smith. This talented trio weighed in a limit of trout at 12.40 lbs. They won $120 for their efforts.
The Badcock and More Mystery fish rolled as zero teams were able to find the ever-elusive March cobia...who knows what next month's fish will be???

What a great 2 days on the water for the Bass Boys we caught several good trout
. When I say several I mean we caught prolly 20 trout over 20 inches in 2 days. We had a Great time and can't wait till next time. Found the fish in a creek mouth in 2-3 foot of water and we caught em till we tired of catchin
what a great problerm to have. I also want to thank Casey Cook for doing a great job at the weight in and everybody in attendance, I really love Keaton Beach. I also want to congratulate Tom Keels on the win again @ Keaton he seems to have that place figured out. Great job Tom.
Until next time I'll see y'all on the water.--------------------------------ONE KEEPER

I haven't been fishing in a few months and this was a good way to start off the Spring fishing time for me. It was good seeing everyone and you put on a great tournament, Casey.
I didn't fair very well "catching," but had a great time nonetheless. Wanted to stick around for the weigh in, but my son was coming down from school and needed to get back home.
Congrats to the winners!

Fixed it for ya CT.CairoTrout wrote:At least we showed up fugdepucker.
Justin, Christy and I had a great time. We're a ways down the list but the trout Justin caught Friday and everybody on the boat catching fish on rods I made was awesome. We weighed 5 and that was my 2nd priority behind having fun.
