Spring is definitely here - after a lousy winter the fishing is picking up. I got 4 bass and 5 bream and lost 2 bass at the boat (note to self - you can't lift bass into the boat when fly fishing with 5lb test tippet).
The bass were at downwind ambush points where the wind was funneling water between pad "islands". All the bream and 2 bass came on the fly rod - small olive/lt olive clousers and a leggy buggy thing I tie up were the ticket. I got one picture worthy bass on a senko:

nice fish ..gotta love that spring bass fishing
Watch out for the one who brings a spoon to a knife fight..he is either really stupid or really good with a spoon. <')))><
