Econfina Trip 3-17-09
Spent most of the day red fishing in creeks west of Econfina mouth. Caught a 22" red on a New Penny 3" Gulp and a 21" red on a gold spoon. No trout. Didn't hook up on anything else. Fished hard all day with little to show but it was beautiful out there. I think the warm weather has driven them out to the flats.

If you are accustomed to catching short fish, you should hook up with Keyser and Cook.
They both can put on a short fish rodeo.
P.S. Welcome!!

ya done good. Those were some big reds. I don't think fish bit real well yesterday, I bass fished in the morning and got a lot of hits but no hookups. Like they were just playing with the lure. Welcome aboard, go fish'in again.
