Except a class 1 rapid at the boat ramp....
Freshwater fishing in the Gulf....

That doesn't sound like much. I'm glad I didn't go today, I started to. Better luck next time, might hafta fish with plastic worms and jitterbugs for bass if the fresh water don't leave soon. :lol:

Yeah there is definitely a lot of water pouring out of the river. We fished Saturday afternoon for about 3 hours and actually did pretty well, though. We stayed in the creeks east of the mouth and caught 5 slot reds and kept 3 that were 23+. I was pleasantly surprised.

Tough conditions make for tough fishing. It'll get better.
