6/6/09 Predictable Tourney day

Post by Eerman »

Went out of Carrabelle. Story of our tournament lives...limit of fish, no kicker. Fishing was off and on all day. Would get several fish in a row then nothing for awhile, then repeat. Never could find big momma. Caught most of the fish on jerkbaits and skitterwalks. Water everywhere from about 2'-5'. Finished up in our usual spot right in the middle of the pack. Sounds like the same experience a lot of people had. DIdn't see anyone else mention it; but, if you're into the spanish thing, now's the time. Those things are absolutely everywhere.

Good Day! Spanish can make for lots of fun on light tackle, even if they don't help with the tourney stringer at the end of the day.
