Grouper in the Bend

Grouper are biting , 40 fts the magic number , had a limit Saturday and Sunday. Caught mostly on live or dead pinfish, and you will know when your on the right spot when your hanging up and breaking off.

Hey Frank.....

I'm not sure bout that magic number!! :o I've been trying to put 40ft in my garmin and you would'n believe where its send'n me.... are you sure bout that location? :wink: Can you at least tell us where you launched from? :D

Yeah, I guess the Big Bend does cover quite a lot of water huh.. We'll I can tell you this I fish out of econfina and ran S.W. about 26 miles> If you look at the map it would be closer to launch from St. Marks or Panacea, but it was a nice ride last weekend. Hope this helps...

not us, by the time we quit fishing sunday after being worn out by grouper, 1 34 in redfish, and a 7 ft nurse shark ( who pulled like a giant sand bag ) 3 to 4 ft waves the ride in , i was just ready to go to bed but i had to drive home, nope wasn't me hollering at anybody...

What kind of dead bait? I had a friend that was fishing with ROTTEN cigar minnows and catching grouper.

Are you the same Frank that is half of Team Grouper?

Yeah, I got that same friend who caught 1 or 2 on dead cigar minnows, don't give up all our secrets...
