St. Andrew Bay 7-3-09
Another quick trip for me and my father. We fished from 6:00 am til 8:30 am. Ran to the east and caught a limit of reds in skinny water. Caught my first red on one of those new MirrOdine XL lures. Reds were really skittish and seemed to run from the noise of the topwater plugs so I tied on the MirrOdine in hopes that the more subtle bait would work and turned out that the move paid off nicely. Caught a few short trout, but we really only fished for trout for about 30 minutes before we headed back to the ramp. We wanted to be out of the water when all the island bound people showed up to clog up the ramp with boats that had probably not been cranked in almost a year.

I was in East Bay at that time and day as well. This was my first time fishing there. When I visit PC I usually fish in West Bay. I did not have much success, however we did catch a few short trout. I put in at St. Andrews marina and went across to the point just south of the city marina and fished the flats there and east.
Is there another ramp to lauch further east in east bay?
