Decided to fish "my" oyster bar after work yesterday. Got to the lighthouse launch about 7 and easily caught some very nice finger mullet and menhaden. Went over to my favorite bar and right away my neighbor caught a nice 26 1/2 inch red followed by my 23 incher. Two in the boat, we proceed to catch doubles and singles of all keeper reds. Every cast was a hookup or a lost bait. I though I had an over-slot red around 8:20 that turned out to be a 27 inch GATOR. Fat trout about 6 1/2 - 7 lbs. I used an old, cheap, rusted scale that was pulled to 6 1/2. I'll add a picture to the post once my neighbor emails them to me from his phone. We left at 9 when we were out of bait and it started to get dark. Caught reds all the way until the last bait was gone, it brought in a nice 22 inch red. Left em biting. Awesome hour and a half of fishing. posting.php?mode=smilies&f=4#
