Carrabelle accomidations ??????

Post by slayer »

was hoping to get a trip scheduled down to the Carrabelle area to try and find some of the endangered Red Snapper and other bottom fish,,,,but that area is nowhere near my beloved Keaton Beach area, so.....I figured it would be best if I ask for some input on accomedations , such as lodging and restaurants....

is there a any places that are close to the water or on the water to stay without draining the wallet?????

and please list any good restaurants in the area

I don't know about draing the wallet but C-Quaters and the Moorings both have rooms (I think) as far as resturants go, thyere might be a Subway or somehting along those lines but not much else that I am aware of, but then again I'm not that familar with C-beele.

The Franklyn Inn is a nice place with plenty of boat parking. BBQ all food place is right next door. I believe they offer a boat slip also but it is a short walk/drive to the river.

The Moorings

Riverview Restaurant is pretty good the times i've been there
Two Al's, down near Carrabelle Beach. good hole-in-the-wall place
Hog Wild BBQ
there are a few others but haven't been to them

or

cook and eat those endangered red snapper and other bottom fish :D
haven't been there since they remodeled everything but they used to have some outdoor park grills so you could still grill if you didn't have a room with a kitchen. just a thought
