I heard today this soft bait was getting quite a bit of attention at ICAST this week.

I'm new here, but what bass fishing I do is two things...prone to the top water bite and also prone to lots of sticks and logs...this looks cool!

$8.04 per, damn. You know they ain't gonna last long. And I suspect hookups will be a problem with trout. It'd probably be all right on reds and should be the shite on Bass.

Makes sense. The latest thing is creature baits, like soft plastic frogs. This bait uses the same principal. Should be good and weedless. As for the price, it's probably somewhat more durable than swim baits that sell for around $2 each, and tear up on the first fish. I'm sure this new bait will catch a lot of fishermen.

Other than it floats I would have to try one to see if I can do anything with it that I can't do with a soft plastic jerkbait.

And I don't see it having the versatility of a jerkbait.

That is really not a new bait it used to be called the ghost and that was around 15 years ago. Works good at Iamonia!

If I read it right you get a 4 count. That puts it back to 2.01 per bait. But then you gotta add a $2 hook.
