England UK Rivers and Inshore

Post by Wadey »

Hello Guys,
I must apologise for not being in touch for the last year, things have been low for me with the passing of my wife of 30 years, last Christmas Eve. My fishing gear was put away for some months until I could get myself back on track, things are looking a little better now and trying to move on so I thought you may like to see a few fish that we have been catching in the last few weeks, I would love to get back to fish the Big Bend this Winter, Florida had become home from home for a few weeks of the year over the past 16 or so years, I sure do miss the American folks I have had the pleasure to meet in that time and the great way of life, I must try it again soon, here are a few photo's of Pike from the Northern Lake District and from the River Thames down here in London, also a couple of Bass [Believe you call them sea bass] from inshore on our south coast together with a cod or two not large cod around the 10lb mark but good on light tackle.
You all take good care of yourselves and your loved ones

Kind Regards

Wadey

G'day, Wadey! Good to hear from you again. So sorry to hear about your wife passing, that had to be hard. But it is good you are getting out again and doing some fishing. Those fish look great, I haven't seen anything that big caught over here in quite a while. I bet those sea bass eat good. :smt004
