Oct. 3rd NFGFC Tourney Roll Call - Econfina
The October tournament will be October 3rd out of the Econfina State Park. Due to concerns expressed by members about running their boat out of the Econfina River on a low tide, anglers must register at Econfina, but can launch at the following ramps: any ramp on the St. Marks river, any ramp on the Aucilla river, any ramp on the Econfina river and any ramp on the Fenholloway river.
Registration will be from 6 a.m. – 6:30 a.m. Boats can leave the dock at safe light - 7 a.m.
Tournament entry fee is $20 per boat for club members or $25 per boat if a non-member is on the boat. You must have one NFGFC member in good standing (up to date on dues) on the boat to be eligible to fish the tournament. Entry forms will be passed out at the meeting and are available online at http://www.nfgfc.org/docs/entryform.pdf.
PLEASE BRING YOUR ENTRY FORMS ALREADY FILLED OUT AND EXACT CHANGE FOR EACH OF THE SIDE POTS. At registration, those who have their forms already filled out will be registered first. If you don't have your form filled out, you'll be sent to the back of the line.
Teams must be checked in by 3:30 p.m. The weigh-in will begin at 3:45 p.m. and teams will weigh their fish in the order of entry.
Tournaments rules can be found here: http://www.nfgfc.org/docs/tournamentrules.htm
Tournament Format: Weigh your best one person limit of trout (1 over 20”, 4 between 15” – 20”).
Side Pots: There will also be a big trout side pot - $5 per person, everyone on the boat has to participate to win. Heaviest trout takes it. The second largest trout of the tournament will win $25 courtesy of Custom Detailing and Tom Wheeler. Sounds to me like there just won't be an Econfina Tournament. Participants will be able to fish any where they please!Due to concerns expressed by members about running their boat out of the Econfina River on a low tide, the tournament will no longer be a ramp tournament out of Econfina. Anglers can launch at any ramp of their choosing.

I was looking foward to everyone being on the same playing field only one Ramp tourney for the year

Next year when you're tournament director, you can have as many ramp tourneys as you want...Warrior wrote:caseycook wrote:The October tournament will be October 3rd out of Jerry’s Bait and Tackle in Woodville, Florida.
