Brand new, Pflueger 1978 Trion fly reel for sale. Sized for 7- or 8-weight lines, this reel is loaded with new backing and Scientific Anglers WF-7-F floating line. This is a great reel for those who want to get started fly fishing in salt or need a back-up reel. Features include a cold-forged and machined aluminum frame and spool, mid-size arbor spool design, stainless steel components, oversized 2-ball bearing system, uni-lock roller clutch bearing, center disk drag system and polished rosewood knob. It holds 100 yards of 20-pound backing and weighs a feather-lite 6.6 ounces. This reel is set up for right-hand retrieve, but it'll easily convert for lefties. It comes with the original box, manual and reel cover. This is a perfect reel for trout, reds, Spanish mackerel or whatever you might want to battle on the inshore flats.
