has any one ver caugt a cobia by sight casting with a plug?
Caught 'em on jigs,pinfish,beeliners,eels,and squid.
Will they take a plug?
I've been told that if they do their jaws are so strong they will crush say a mirrolure, or similar bait.
Does any one have any experience with this

I've hung a couple on topwater baits while fishing for trout, but have never landed one. They are fond of red/white chug bugs.

Tom,
Any damage to the plug?
Did the fish pull the hooks, break your line, or spool you?

Broke the line. 40+ pound cobia vs 10 lb test and no one to crank up and chase for me = bad news.
