Missing Andros Backwater FOUND

Post by WaltDawg »

Got a call from Salty this afternoon saying they found his boat stripped in Jefferson County. Apparently, some A-hole tried to sell the motor to someone in Wakulla and the serial number matched. I think the guy said he bought it from a guy who bought it from a guy. Regardless, he needs to get kicked in the teeth. I'm sure Bill will post more details, but he wanted something up in case on of you saw him trailering it in town and calling the cops.

It sucks that they stripped it ..but it is good that they found it....they need to start cutting off the hands of these thiefs when they get caught .

I hate to hear that it's stripped but at least they found it.
Now go lock that arse up and throw away the key.

Now that's a great catch. Hope they check the idiot against other boat gear crimes committed in the last year. Forget the hands, should be a capital offense and have the trial and execution at the next BBF.net social.

While it's still fresh in everybody's mind, why not do it Saturday night. We could make it a new tradition.

I just got back from Wacissa. Pretty much the only good news was that the guy got caught. I'll be surprised if the boat isn't totaled with how he hacked it up. Most of the parts were recovered, but I don't know how salvageable they are yet.

JT, re: Warriors trailer - I looked over the property pretty good and didn't see any boat trailers sitting around. I know the detectives walked the property checking everything out, and I don't think they saw anything either. I'll check with them tomorrow to make sure.

I hope the local news can find time away from the Tiger Woods crap to give the thief's name and put his picture all over the TV and newpapers.

I'm glad the perp was caught! Sorry the boat was taken, it was a sweet rig! I am really surprised it was still around in this area.
