The 3rd Annual Forgotten Coast Kayak Fishing Classic is March 26-27 2010 in Panacea, Florida just south of Tallahassee, Florida. We are supporting the Wakulla County Senior Services Center. They are the Wakulla County representatives of Meals on Wheels. In addition they operate services in the Elementary Schools for parents ot drop off their children early in the mornings before school starts and they operate the buses that provide transportation to many that need it in Wakulla County. We are proud to offer our support through this tournament. The 2010 Forgotten Coast Kayak Fishing Classic registration is now open.

Its still $50.00 per Angler and you are paying Meals on Wheels of Wakulla County, not me. We see no money. We put this own to support our community, and our sponsors provide all of the food and prizes. They support us, so please support them. Pay on our website to their Paypal account. Please use the account, its easier to keep track.

Registration is at: http://www.forgottencoastkayakfishingcl ... ister.html

FIRST 100 GET A GIFTBAG.

The gift bag this year is a Hobie Kayak Cooler filled with donated kayak fishing items including lures and spoons from AquaDreamliving.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR
We are planning on adding a Ladies and Youth division. We are firm on the youth division which will be for youths under 16. It will be longest fish. The Ladies division will also be longest fish. The fish that can be used for these two divisions are the Redfish, Trout, Freshwater Bass, and flounder. You will NOT have to sign up for any special division. If you qualify and it will get you a better prize than your place in the open division, then you will be placed in the Ladies or Youth division. The grand prize for the youth division is a Tarpon 100 donated by Sunjammers. When we firm up the ladies division I will let you know what the prize is. Headquarters will be at the Moose Lodge in Panacea Florida, just a few miles south of out previous headquarters. You will be able to buy beer and drinks from them. Meals on Wheels will provide a dinner at the Captains meeting and we will have a Shrimp Boil put on by Liam Callaghan again for the tournament.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event that the tournament gets called due to Gail Force Winds, we will terminate the tournament and raffle away all of the prizes on the day of the tournament at Noon to allow everyone time to get home. Otherwise we will proceed as planned. The final judge on Inclement Weather is JEFF SUBER. If you have a VHF radio, keep it tuned to CH 16 and if the tournament is called SEATOW will announce it at my request before the tournament begins in the morning. If the weather is predictable bad we will call it the night before and have the raffle the next day at noon. Not to make the Hotel owners happy, but to see if the weather will change in time for the tournament. You will be given a number to call to check the status of the tournament if these conditions are questionable.
