Thanks for clearing that up for me, RC. Maybe a ruby-lipped snapper? :smt007

For a while there I thought maybe it would turn out to be a grunt. :o

There are several photos that you have to study before you can definitely conclude that in fact that is a ruby red lipped snapper!

I would say that is an American Pink Snapper. Very elusive and slippery. :D
