Hook Wreck Henry's Closing
Sorry if already posted, but just saw where Hook Wreck's is closing after the holiday weekend. I guess the economy, boat ramp closing, and artic weather did them in. I kinda liked the place!

Hate to hear that. Fun place with good food and great view! Wife and I enjoyed going there! Anything left on water now...other than Riverside?

Isn't Angelo's on the water?
There's the place on the Carrabelle River, if it's still open.

I hate to hear this. I sure will miss the 25 cent oysters on Thursdays.

Re: Hook Wreck Henry's Closing
A buddy of mine and I stopped in yesterday afternoon and had a beer and a couple dozen oysters.
We didn't get a sense of anything being amiss. I hate to see it go, it seemed like it had a perfect location to go along with the quality food. I hope this is just a rumor.

That sucks. Is there anywhere left in Carrabelle to eat other than the Subway?

The Fishermans Wife trailer kitchen on 98 between the Police station and C quarters is good.
The BBQ joint just past the boat club and 2 Als' at C'Belle Beach and Wicked Willies and The BP station for breakfast.
