Started the day off not expecting much with water temps around 44. CT and I decided to try and scout some old spots and a few new for the April tourney. After waiting three forevers for the water to finally come in, we began to get discouraged because we weretwo hours form the weigh in and hadnt boated a single fish. Deciding we werent going home whipped, we decided to ease into a back water creek we had fished before. Drifting into the mouth, we began chunking. I said to CT, "Hoss, we are going to have to put a couple in the box to make my baby some fish tacos or mama's gonna be mad!" About three casts later I feel a slight tug and bam 26.5" pig.
High fives around the boat and a few coyote howls later, we go to chunkin again. About three casts later, BAM! 23.5" baby pig
CT's wife has a birthday party and we decide we better ease on in before shes cooking his hindquarters instead of my trouts! Great Day on the water and an awesome way to end a really slow day! Had a blast Ct and we'll get em in April!!

We are all willing to learn something new.
I bet that trip was in the afternoon too hoss. We started catching when the water and temp got there. Had to leave twenty minutes after we started catching. If We cud have fished an hour we could have limited too. I agree with JT, come on and join us, we'd love to have ya!!!!
