I'm wondering if the "high bluffs" were the elevations of Brill Point? I'm anxious to share this with some old fishing buddies from the early-mid 70s.

1842 lake Jackson draw down...Jumptrout51 was there. 
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Jumptrout51 is in fact a member of the Army of the Lord....
but it's the secrect service branch
