Location, date, time, water conditions, weather conditions, baits, techniques, species caught, etc.
Went to Porters today and picked the boat up. New set of shifter cables and a control gear and I'm good to go! Being that I live right by Lake Jackson, I took her over for a run with my son Avery. We saw Butch at the bait store and he asked if I was crazy for going out. I said ,"sure" and we were on our way. We headed over to a spot we have been fishing for the past few weeks. It was a nice little stretch from Sunset, so we had to go there Avery was throwing a BooYah spinnerbait and I started tossing a 7" white jerk bait. I had 2 nice strikes but missed both times We drifted over to a spot with a nice patch of grass. I tossed the softie over and BAMMMMM!!!!! Got the monster to the boat and it was 25" and weighed a solid 8 lbs. Released it to fight again another day.....after a few pics of course Will post those later....
