We got to the landing around 8:00 and got under way. I thought I saw Breambuster ahead of us in the canal so I tried to raise him on the radio, but no luck. Headed out to the south birdrack but nothing doing there so we headed to spring warrior. If it had been up to me to feed the family today we would have starved. I caught one short all day. But my wife saved the day. She flat out fished me today bringing in 4 trout to 18" and 2 spanish to 23". My boy outfished me with several shorts and a gar. Even my friend that was with us caught 2 keeper trout. But everone had fun and we got out and caught a few.

Secret to catching fish. Fish three days! That will cover the day before, ("they were really biting yesterday"), today and the next day, ("they bite the next day"). Other wise just enjoy being there when you could.

Sounds like a good trip to me. Dont you know the captain takes full credit on everything that happens on the boat.
