I got to take the family out saturday, got on the water about 9:30 and headed to spring warrior. It was slow but my Mom managed a nice 21'' red and a 18" trout, her first red and trout only her 2nd time out. We fished shallow for most of the day then we headed out to put them on some somthing, anything at that point. We went to about 5 1/2 foot and found some fish had to work through the little one but my wife, 5 year old and mom did not mind, me and dad stayed busy taking fish off and rebaiting. We ended the day with 9 trout 1 red and a flounder. My little boy had the big fish of the day with his biggest ever 22 1/2" trout. All the fish were caught on gulp under thunders. I did not put a keeper in the boat and not many shorts but would not have had it any other way. good day fishing great day with the family. Try add pics later
