Saint Marks Yacht Club...dumb question

I've often wondered what the Saint Marks Yacht Club is. I've always thought it was a place for folks who own large non-trailerable boats to dock. Is there more to it than that?

The St. Marks Yacht Club is not just for people with big boats. We have members with no boat, members with smaller boats as well members with large vessles. We have a regular scheduled social once a month and special events, such as the SMYC/NFGFC Tournament thru out the year. The club looks for members with a prime intrest in some type of boating activity, but ownership of a boat is not a requirement.

We like to have a good time on or around the water.

The Wife and I had our Wedding Reception there in 2001. We have been talking about renting the SMYC again next year to celebrate our 10th anniversary.

It is a very nice place with an outstanding view.
