Took SIL & his buddy the 5" of rain they had the night before did not give much hope. The winds did not give much hope. Just after full moon did not give much hope. But it was a birthday request by my SIL so away we go they are late. we ease that way. Head out amongst many boats. They are fishing a tournement called Optimist I am not. I head to where they were biting when I was there last nope. Got to spot two pounding waves no boats around I am in 14' of water again and catching the usual suspects Trout Spanish Flounder & Black Sea Bass. Tried for Redfish at the end but it never happened.

My SIL's buddy had never fished the salt it was not a good day to learn. SIL takes the rod out of his hand and shows him how to use the popping cork only to make a cast and hook the largest Trout of his life 22"s his buddy Jamie had 30+ strikes and almost had the rod taken out of his hands but mannaged to land one dang fish. Saltwater fishing may not be his thing.

Most were caught on straght jigs but some did come off the cork most were caught real deep.

It was rough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 We were down by Rock Island.

salute3 WAM OUT
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?
