Fished from Aucilla to Rock Island and everything in between. Plenty of short trout (couldn't squeeze enough for 2 man limit), blues,flounder, couple reds, some of the biggest sailcats I've ever seen, and even a 16" gag in 6 feet of water. And 5 manatees around the mouth of a creek. Got to finally run the new to me boat some where other than the lake and I thinks I like it.
Hope to get back in a couple of weeks before that summer heat sets in and maybe hang around 3 or 4 days this time.
As we were leaving Sun. afternoon, (around 3) we are crossing the Aucilla on 98 and and noticed a jon boat in the middle of the river. 2 guys in scuba gear, "hangin' out".................................In the water.
I'm guessing they were artifact/arrowhead hunting. Nope, not in this lifetime..............Anybody else see them ??
