Set sail at 6:30pm for a three hour cruise on the mighty Flint River. The wind was calm, the water was clear with little or no current. Almost froze getting to my Crappie hole.
Bite was slow but steady. Lots of small ones with a papa every now and then. Fished til 10:00pm or until the tenth toe lost feeling. Only kept 8 Crappie and one good size Warmouth. Throwed back about 15 or 20 small Crappie, 1 small bass, and a few small Warmouth.
Had an excellent time "adjusting my attitude."
Ready to run at life again.

Felt like Frosty the snowman was in the boat with me. Got no picture, but they're still on ice in the back of my truck Chalk, if you'd like to validate my report.

Got one of them rascals Wevans. Give it to you cheap. Ain't worth a flip. Just a little moisture in the element and it'll fry it. I'm talking very little moisture. Plus, you got to just about put it in yer pocket to feel any heat from it. Hard to keep lit too.
No Chalk for the boat.

Me three. Used to camp on the creek with my brother. He'd laugh at me for bringing one blanket on a 30 degree night. Now I sleep in a camper. We all get old one day.
