I live on Live Oak Island and yesterday oil boom was put out just off the pass between the island and shell point. Its not fully streched out but ready to use. If you are heading out tonight for the fireworks at shell point ( last night was awsome ) be advised. They are well lit up with blinking lights ( until some P.O.S. ) steals them.

Yea I saw that too. That is something I thought Iwould never see at shell point. I hope it will not be needed

talked to a guy when i made it back to rocky's after fishing who went out at the aucilla and said they were putting out some oil boom out there.anyone seen any out there and where?
