Mexico Beach bait

Post by Boat_Full »

Does anyone in Mexico Beach sell live shrimp or do I need to ride to Port. St. Joe?

Thanks.

DOA 1/4-ounce shrimp. Deadly on Anything. Injected with aquaculture shrimp. No live well necessary. :D

I've got plenty of those, I'm not taking the boat. I'm just wanting to take the kids to the Jetty, Pier, and the beach in front of our house, have only had luck with live or freshly dead shrimp.

Marquardt's used to carry livies, but I'm not sure if they still do. Worth a call. If not, Half Hitch in SJ will.

I usually just buy fresh at the Shell Shack near Marquarts....
There were also lots of small minnows in the surf. Forgot my cast net last weekend so I cant tell you what they were.
