Walters parents are burying their son in Douglasville, GA on Thursday at 2:00 pm. Most of us can not make this trip so locally we will be having an informal Memorial Service.
Friends of Walter Widener in Tallahassee area. There will be a 7:00 am Memorial Service at Mashes Sands on the Beach, North of the mouth of the Ochlocknee River on Sunday 19 Sept 2010. Dress is informal, and most of us will be wearing our fishing clothes and raising a beer to our friend Walt after hearing a few words on his impact on our lives.
