Blake McLendon Flag Parade
Senior Chief Petty Officer, Blake McLendon made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom September 21, 2010. He died at the age of 30 in a helicopter crash during a special operation in Afghanistan. Blake's hometown (Thomasville, GA) held a flag parade in his honor this past Friday.

Glad he got a lot of coverage. That's how he and the rest who didn't come home alive should be honored. Every last one of them. Our vets and fallen comrades will never be forgotten.

That was an awesome experience in a very respectful way.
No matter what, it's a good day.

Many, MANY thanks for sharing, Flanders.

Thank you, Senior Chief Petty Officer McLendon! And "thank you" to all Americans who sacrificed and continue to sacrifice to maintain freedom for the rest of us. May God bless you; Amen.
