Skeg Repair Questions

Post by Scoop Sea »

Unfortunately, while backing my boat up tonight to store it, I caught the end of my driveway and broke off a part of the skeg. In turn, I need to either get the skeg repaired or possibly get a rock guard put on. Any suggestions on those two choices? Either way, I am assuming from what I have read on this board taking the boat to Wavel Porter will be the way to go. Can somebody provide me some directions on how to get to his place? I live in Crawfordville. Also, anybody got any idea about how much I (actually my wife since she was the spotter...... ) will be looking to shell out to get this done? Any other advise, etc. will be appreciated. Thanks.
