10/17 St. Marks Report

I had about 1.5 hours to fish after the high tide on Sunday. I freelined live shrimp and fished topwater around oyster bars. I saw lots of activity. The only catch was 1 short redfish and a 23' trout (my personal best). Oh, and a stingray. Beautiful afternoon on the water. All catches on the live shrimp. I did have some boils on the Bdonka, but nothing hooked.

Sweet.. I'll be down to try some artificals on Tuesday...maybe they're still out there.
