Congrats to all you guys who are off work today. There should be a law against making a veteran work on Veterans Day.

Had the pleasure of working with all branches during my career. Together we kicked a lot of ass and took a lot of names. Hope you vets are having a great day. Always remember the ones who can't be here to celebrate with us. Never, ever forget them and raise a glass to them! salute3

Wevans,
Small world. I was flying support on the last year you were aboard the Ike when I was attached to VQ-2 (Fleet Combat Recon).

Many thanks to ALL who've served and are currently serving. I was quite lucky to have served during the calm before the storm, joining in 1996 and serving as crewman in a Abrams Tank Unit in S.C. through 2000, before finishing out my time in the IRR in 2004.

On a sad note, news broke yesterday that Tallahassee lost one of it's own in Afghanistan -- 29 year old 2nd Lt. Robert M. Kelly, a 2003 FSU graduate. Please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers on this day we remember all who have served. :smt010
