Re: REDFISH SURVEY
I wasn't aware there was an election. What was the redfish running for?

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
I seriously didn't know there was a vote on it, (I assume you're talking about the proposed limit changes). I would have voted "no". The fishery's not quite ready for it in my opinion, at least not in this area.

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
Here is the link to a survey. Just tell them to leave it alone. I know I did. The survey is about 1/4 of the way down the page.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
I voted leave it as is as well.
Skeeter, when I am satisfied with what is in my freezer, I do not even keep one. I think restraint is really not the issue for those that have it. Changing this rule will not alter those of us that catch way more slots than we keep in a year by much, because lots of the serious anglers catch all they need as is. It is more about the casual angler keeping all they catch, just because they can. THAT is what worries me.

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
Thanks foe the link. Hopefully they will leave it as the last thriving fishery that does not have seasonal closures.
Pretty scary to see the commercial fishing question. Red bar snapper??

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
Anyone else have trouble completing the survey? I've used the alternate link Harmsway provided and have gotten hung up twice on question #11 and can't proceed.

Re: REDFISH SURVEY
I just took the survey.
When I got to 11 it slowed down.
I had to double or triple click NEXT on the next several questions to advance.
It did work however.
