Why we fish?

Post by pcbayou »

Mornin', y'all. Here's a video you may enjoy when you're waiting for the wind to go away and the warmth to come back. I came across the original in a segment from the old "On the Road" series with Charles Kuralt. He was talking with the author, Judge John Voelker (AKA Robert Traver). It's really about fly fishing, but it also applies to us spinners and casters.

I like the the part that goes . . . "My fishing is at once an endless source of delight, and an act of small rebellion."

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.
